Five robbery suspects arrested, stolen items recovered in Machakos Town

Police in Machakos Town have arrested five suspects found in possession of items believed to have been stolen during a burglary in the area.

The officers on routine patrol from Machakos Police Station made the arrests following a swift response after getting wind of the ongoing theft on Kitui Road.

After their arrest, the National Police Service (NPS) says the suspects led the officers to a location where a television, a keg pump, audio equipment and assorted alcoholic beverages were recovered.

The suspects are currently in custody at Machakos Police Station, pending processing and arraignment in court.

The NPS has since commended both the public and its officers for the successful operation, committing to remain resolute in its commitment to serving and protecting the public.
