Content creator and media personality Oga Obinna has once again stirred conversation online after candidly revealing the most money he has ever spent on a romantic partner — and how the situation ultimately turned sour.
Obinna, who has been open about his unconventional family setup, is a father of five with four different baby mamas.
Over the years, he has spoken publicly about his relationships, co-parenting challenges and lessons learned from love.
Most recently, he made headlines after revealing how he discovered he had a fifth child, claiming one of his baby mamas, Tallie, stopped using birth control without informing him and kept the pregnancy a secret for months.
Now, during an interview with TikToker Trukid, the outspoken YouTuber shed light on a past relationship that cost him millions — financially and emotionally.
‘I withdrew nearly KSh 2 million for her’
When asked about the highest amount of money he has ever spent on a woman, Obinna did not hold back.
He revealed that he once paid close to KSh 1.8 million to help an ex-partner settle a car loan she had hidden from him.
“I gave my ex about KSh 1.8 million. It later became a very big public scandal,” Obinna said. “She had taken a car loan without telling me. When I found out, she was extremely stressed, so I decided to help.”
According to Obinna, he personally accompanied her to the bank, withdrew nearly KSh 2 million from one account and deposited it into another to clear the debt — even signing the necessary documents.
“At the time, I didn’t even love her like that,” he admitted. “I respected her. I thought we were building something.”
However, the situation later escalated after the woman allegedly began making claims about the incident on social media.
Obinna said he was forced to defend himself by producing deposit slips showing his signature and proof of payment.
“That is the most cash I’ve ever given a woman,” he added.
Cars, love and generosity
Despite the costly experience, Obinna said generosity has always been part of who he is when he is emotionally invested.
He revealed that beyond cash, he has bought cars for women in his life — including some of his baby mamas.
“I’ve bought about three cars,” he said. “There is a baby mama I bought two cars for. I’m a lover — when I love, I love fully.”
His remarks quickly sparked reactions online, with netizens debating relationships, money and emotional investment.
Some joked about how people often spend more on partners they are less emotionally attached to, while others teased Obinna about his openness.
Comments ranged from playful to critical, with some users jokingly volunteering to be his “next ex,” while others questioned the wisdom of spending such large sums in relationships.

A link to co-parenting growth
Obinna’s remarks come just days after Mama Adalola, who shares a child with him, publicly praised comedian Mulamwah and his former partner Carrol Sonie for choosing peaceful co-parenting.
Mulamwah and Carrol recently went viral after sharing moments from a day spent together with their daughter, Keilah — a major shift from their previously tense relationship. Many Kenyans applauded the former couple for putting their child’s emotional wellbeing first.
