Content creator Hannah Benta gave birth earlier this week, drawing the attention of close friends and fellow TikTok personalities who gathered at the hospital to celebrate the arrival of her child.
Among those present were Trisha Khalid and several other online creators, who shared moments from the visit on social media, congratulating Benta and welcoming the newborn.
The hospital visit came amid ongoing public interest in Benta’s past relationship with Captain Sammir, with whom she is now separated.
The two have previously spoken openly about their differences, particularly surrounding Benta’s pregnancy.
Sammir Announces Financial Commitment
Shortly after news of the birth emerged, Captain Sammir took to social media to announce his intention to support the child financially.
In a video statement, he outlined specific plans and figures, saying he would send money to cater for the baby’s needs.
“I will send money for shopping. I will send KSh 400,000, should be enough for baby’s shopping,” Sammir said.
He detailed that the amount would cover major items including a crib, car seat, stroller, baby clothes, diapers for one year, and hygiene products. According to him, the sum would be sufficient to meet the child’s early needs.
His statement marked a shift from earlier public exchanges between the two, which had been characterized by disagreements and accusations.

Disputed Pregnancy Test Interview
Earlier this year, Sammir and Benta appeared in an interview with media personality Oga Obinna, during which they addressed speculation about the pregnancy. At the time, the couple took a pregnancy test during the interview, which returned a negative result.
Despite the outcome, Sammir expressed skepticism about the process. He maintained that the test was not conducted under conditions he considered credible and questioned its legitimacy.
“If it is in, it is in. If she is pregnant, it’s not going anywhere,” he said during the interview, insisting that the pregnancy would be confirmed eventually regardless of the test result.
Claims of Staged Results
Sammir further alleged that the test should have been conducted in front of witnesses before the urine sample was taken. He argued that the absence of such measures left room for doubt.
“Why go through all that just to prove you’re not pregnant when you actually are?” he asked at the time, adding that he believed Benta was indeed pregnant despite the negative result.
He also stated then that he was prepared to take responsibility if a child was born, saying, “Let her just give birth, I will raise the child.”
Following the birth and Sammir’s recent statements, public attention has focused on how the situation will unfold, particularly regarding co-parenting arrangements and future support.
For now, Sammir’s declaration signals an intention to be involved financially in the child’s upbringing as the two continue their lives separately.
