Media personality and entrepreneur Julie Gichuru has given fans a heartwarming glimpse into her family life. She shared a candid image marking her long-standing relationship with her husband, Anthony Gichuru.

The photo also highlighted a poignant milestone: their grown son is now taller than both parents.

Two Decades of Love

Julie Gichuru and her husband, entrepreneur Anthony Gichuru, have been married for over two decades. The couple recently celebrated 22 years of love and relationship.

They married in 2003, making them a fixture in Kenya’s high-profile circles.

“Gathoni & Gichuru. Over 22 years of marriage and a quarter of a century together. I could not be more thankful,” she posted.

The couple frequently shares insights into their private life, often praising their strong partnership. They also co-founded the Footprints Africa Foundation (FAF), which supports youth growth and development.

The Triumphant Trio

The image shared by the media mogul was striking. It showed Julie, Anthony, and one of their sons standing together.

The son, who has transitioned into manhood, stood noticeably taller than both his mother and father. This height difference symbolised the passage of time and their children’s growth.

“Our youngest in the background, taller than both of us 🤗🙏🙌. Kweli, tumejenga nchi!” she added in her caption.

The picture provided a rare, intimate look at the family unit. The parents stood proudly next to their towering son. The visual contrast was both touching and a source of maternal pride for Julie.

“The gift of my life is you, our children, and our home. Thank you for loving me and making God the centre of our home,” Julie has previously said about her family.

This experience reinforced their belief in the importance of their family unit.

Julie Gichuru is a highly respected figure in the African media landscape. She is known for her two-decade career spanning broadcast, print, and digital media.

Her notable shows include Sunday Live and the peace specials, Voices of Reason. She is currently the Chief Public Affairs and Communications Officer at the Mastercard Foundation.
