“But where are the men?” Rue baby reacts to President Ruto’s marriage plea

At a time when President William Ruto is encouraging the youth to get serious about settling down, Rue baby delivered a perfectly timed reality check.

The content creator who is also Akothee’s daughter, in a nutshell captured the frustrations of many young Kenyan women who are tired of motivational speeches with no matching bachelors on the ground.

What makes her comments hit hard is the casual honesty. Marriage sounds nice but women need men to approach and seek for commitment.

“I know the president said we should marry but if the men are missing Mr. President what can we do?” Rue Baby posted.

This simply echoes what has been doing round on social media, most men are simply shying away not only from the dating scene but also from the public and social spaces.

In a country where the dating scene currently feels like an extreme sport, Rue Baby has turned a national message into a viral moment and the bachelors of Kenya have officially been summoned for duty.

Her remarks emerged two days after President Ruto encouraged Kenyans aged 25 years and above to get married.
