List of Celebrities & Gospel Ministers at Betty Bayo’s Burial in Ndumberi Stadium

The funeral service for beloved Kenyan gospel singer Betty Bayo, born Beatrice Mbugua, drew a massive crowd of mourners, celebrities, politicians, and prominent gospel ministers today in Ndumberi, Kiambu County.

The service, held at Ndumberi Stadium, precedes her interment later on her land.

The immense gathering was a powerful tribute to Bayo’s impact on the Kenyan gospel scene. Her death on 10 November 2025, following a battle with Leukemia, shocked the nation.

Gospel Royalty and Ministers Pay Respects

The gospel music fraternity was heavily represented at the stadium, underscoring the deep professional and personal connections Bayo had fostered. Many of the singers present shared the stage with Bayo during her career, which peaked with hits like “11th Hour” and “Thiiri”.

Among the notable gospel ministers and singers in attendance were:
