Thee Pluto Opens up about Cracks Between Him, Felicity Shiru’s Family: “Why Can’t You Pick Calls?”

Youtuber-turned-forex trader Thee Pluto has opened up about growing tensions between him and the family of his ex-partner Felicity Shiru claiming repeated attempts to reach them have gone unanswered. Thee Pluto claimed that he is not allowed to see his daughter by Felicity Shiru’s family.  The former couple parted ways in September 2024 after three years together, announcing their separation on Instagram and assuring their followers that they would co-parent respectfully and without conflict. The ex-lovers welcomed their daughter Zoey in 2022 but later split, with both committing to taking care of their child. While speaking during an interview with Oga Obinna, Pluto lamented that efforts to reach Felicity directly have been increasingly difficult.

What happened between Pluto and Felicity’s family? He said the situation has extended to her family, noting that her mother also does not pick up his calls or respond to his messages, even when he is reaching out concerning the child. “Because kama simu yangu huchukui as the grandmother of the kid, you don’t know what I want to say. Why can’t you pick up my phone? Why can’t you respond to my messages?” Pluto asked. He expressed frustration over what he described as a pattern of communication breakdown, noting that he has made numerous attempts to engage respectfully and consistently. Pluto also referenced past conversations that had touched on financial expectations, saying he had previously asked for clarity on what support was required to avoid misunderstandings. He said he is not interested in publicly criticising Felicity as a person because she cannot defend herself in such a setting, insisting that his concerns revolve around respect and cooperation for the sake of their daughter.

“I have asked so many times, how much money do you want? Coz if it’s about money. I remember the last time I was told I never bought it, I don’t know what. And I have the messages here; I wouldn’t come here and lie about this kind of thing in front of people. The reason I wouldn’t talk about Felicity as a person is that she is not here to defend herself. That’s why I am only dwelling on respect,” Pluto shared.
