Content creator Dem Wa Facebook has revealed the reason behind her decision to cancel her birthday party this year.
Speaking during an interview at a Farmers Choice event, she explained that her career and work commitments took priority over personal celebrations.
The comedian and social media personality said she believes that one should focus on their job first before thinking about holding a party. “Work comes first, then celebration later,” she remarked during the interview.

Dem Wa Facebook also expressed gratitude to God for the opportunities she has received, attributing her success and partnerships with big brands to divine favor. “The many big brands I’m associating with is the power of God,” she said.
She noted that while her content may not always attract massive views, the impact and trust from established companies have sustained her.
“Let me get 5,000 views, but the brands I’m associating with are able to provide for everything,” she added.
Fans Celebrate Her Birthday Online
Although she cancelled her physical birthday party, fans did not let the day pass without showing love and support. Many took to social media to wish her a happy birthday and to praise her maturity and focus.
One fan wrote, “Happy birthday to this mature beautiful lady ❤️❤️ age gracefully,” while another commented, “Happy birthday beautiful girl 🙌❤️❤️❤️.”
Dem Wa Facebook shared that one of her birthday wishes — owning an iPhone 17 — had already come true. She humorously added that she is still hoping for another wish to be fulfilled soon, getting a Harrier.

During the same interview, Dem Wa Facebook took a moment to mourn the late gospel artist Betty Bayo. She described Bayo’s passing as a loss to Kenya’s entertainment industry and offered condolences to her family and fans.
