Huddah Shares Viral Clip to Justify Why She’s Not Ready to Bring Kids Into This World

Kenyan socialite and businesswoman Huddah Monroe has opened up about her decision to delay motherhood, sparking conversation online after sharing her candid thoughts through her Instagram stories.

In a post that has quickly gained attention, Huddah reposted a video from Instagram creator theelijahnovels, where he emotionally blames his parents for bringing him into the world “against his will.” In the viral clip, the creator says:

“I blame my parents for all my problems. They brought me into this world against my will. I didn’t ask for it. You mean to tell me that you all knew how life is hard and still decided to bring people into this world? That should be illegal.”

Huddah captioned the video with a statement that many interpreted as her personal reflection on the challenges and responsibilities of parenthood. She wrote:

“That is why I’m never ready for kids. Coz until it makes sense, it doesn’t make sense to add more people yet.”

Not the First Time She’s Addressed the Topic

This isn’t the first time Huddah has publicly shared her views on motherhood and the constant curiosity surrounding her personal life.

In the past, the Huddah Cosmetics founder has told fans to stop asking her when she plans to have a baby. During a Q&A session on Instagram, one of her followers asked if she had any plans to have a child in the future. The outspoken entrepreneur, known for her honesty and unfiltered opinions, responded sharply:

“Honestly, why is this the most asked question? Don’t y’all have something better to focus on than my womb?”

Her blunt response quickly went viral, sparking debate online about societal pressure on women—especially public figures—to become mothers.

Huddah’s latest post appears to reinforce her earlier stance: that motherhood should be a personal decision made from a place of readiness, not pressure.

A Reflection on Readiness and Responsibility

Huddah’s remarks reflect a growing sentiment among younger generations who are choosing to delay or forgo parenthood until they feel emotionally, financially, and mentally prepared.

Her statement highlights the deep thought and personal responsibility she associates with raising children.

By saying “it doesn’t make sense to add more people yet,” she seems to question the moral and social implications of bringing children into a world full of challenges — a sentiment that resonated widely online.

Public Reaction and Broader Discussion

While some followers applauded her honesty, others criticized her for what they saw as a cynical outlook.

Yet, many agreed that her openness reflects the experiences of countless young adults who feel overwhelmed by societal expectations.

Her views contribute to a wider discussion about autonomy, freedom of choice, and the pressure placed on women to meet traditional milestones like marriage and motherhood.
