Bahati’s attempt to mourn Shalkido with their Private Chats Backfires Badly on him

Musician Kevin Bahati is on the receiving end after mourning the sudden demise of gengetone star Shalkido with a screenshot of their private chats.

Bahati faced Backlash after fans accused him of ignoring Shalkido when he reached out to beg for a collabo –only for him to post the conversation when Shalkido had passed away.

In the chat, it’s clear that Shalkido never got a response from Bahati.

However, in his caption, Bahati says that his Management reached out to Shalkido and they had even planned to hit the studio this week for the said collaboration.

#RIPSHALKIDO 🕊🕊🕊 You had Just Talked to My Management on our Collabo na Mkapanga Tuingie Studio this Coming Week🥹🥹🥹 Rest Well Young King Tutaonana Baadae,” Bahati shared.

Faans and a section of his followers have refused to buy the explanation, and now they are calling him out with clout-chasing allegations.

Shalkido’s Death

Gengetone artist Shalkido, best known for his role in the popular group Sailors Gang, tragically passed away following a grisly road accident on Sunday.

Shalkido succumbed to his injuries hours after being declared brain dead by doctors at Kenyatta University Hospital, where he had been admitted to the ICU.

According to earlier statements by TV host Obinna, the artist was involved in a hit-and-run accident that left him with severe head injuries, internal bleeding, and a broken bone.

The accident occurred just as Shalkido, a father of one, was working to rebuild his music career after a challenging period. Known for his vibrant energy and lyrical flow, Shalkido had recently been making efforts to get his life and artistry back on track before the tragedy struck.
