Director Trevor, the CEO of the Content Creators Association of Kenya, has finally addressed the swirling speculation linking him back to his ex-girlfriend and former business partner, YouTuber Mungai Eve.
For several days, online chatter has suggested that Eve is battling depression and privately regrets walking away from Trevor, with some even speculating about a possible reunion.
The story gained traction when Nairobi County Chief Officer for Environment, Geoffrey Mosiria, publicly revealed he had spoken to Trevor, urging him to support his ex despite their bitter split.
Mosiria claimed Trevor had once told him that Eve chose to leave after gaining fame, believing she no longer needed his support. Yet he argued that her recent online behaviour suggested regret.
Addressing Eve directly, he urged her to reconcile professionally with Trevor: “If truly you are doing badly in terms of your social media earnings, I already called my brother Trevor and asked him to forgive you so that you can work together again. He can brand-build you into a successful content creator capable of earning again.”
Eve, however, swiftly shut down the talk. Taking to social media, she dismissed the claims as a driven narrative, insisting she had never confessed to struggling or reached out for help.

Trevor Responds
In an interview with Milele FM’s Ankali Ray, Trevor dismissed claims that he had promised to create space for his ex in his life despite being married, or that he was considering handing her back their former joint YouTube channel.
Still, Trevor maintained that in his role as Content Creators Association boss, he could never ignore a request for professional support.
“She has not asked for my help, but I am the CEO of all digital creators. If someone who is a creator asks for my help, I would help out. No one has looked for me, but if she wants my help, she can reach out,” he said, cleverly tying in a plug for his upcoming industry event.
“She should talk to her (speaking about Kiki)—the manager. She manages everything,” Trevor said.
Kiki Yvonne Weighs In
Kiki herself later joined the interview, firmly insisting that she would be the gatekeeper for any such collaboration.
“I should be asked first. I don’t know if he has an ex, but if he has one, she should look for me because it’s work,” she explained.
She went on to stress her confidence in their marriage and faith, suggesting she had no fear of history repeating itself.
In what many saw as a veiled jab at Eve, Kiki hinted she would not allow her relationship to end up like Trevor’s past one.
She also revealed that she and Trevor were considering trying for a child during an upcoming vacation, a disclosure that shifted the conversation back to their personal future.
Trevor lamented what he called a common trend where young women abandon partners who helped them rise, only to be used and discarded by others. Quoting a proverb, he said: “Do not abandon your own for a passing convenience.”

Whether Trevor and Eve ever cross paths again remains to be seen, but for now, Trevor appears to be drawing a line between business and the past, leaving the ball firmly in Eve’s court.
