TikTok influencer Rachel Otuoma had a comeback for a fan who pleaded with her to give her one of her many wigs. Rachel Otuoma told off a fan who pleaded with her for one of her wigs. Photo: Rachel Otuoma. Source: Instagram Rachel was live on her TikTok while getting her hair done at the salon when she read the netizen’s request. What did Rachel Otuoma tell fan asking for her wig? The influencer is known for her deadly responses to people online, and her answer when asked for help got many reacting with mixed feelings.  “I am asking for one wig. I can never give out my wigs. All my wigs start from KSh 30,000. By the way, (asks the salonist), how much did I pay for the wig I took here the last time? KSh 54,000? So I cannot give out my wigs. Very expensive. Unless I buy you one from another place. But mine? The last time I took one here, it cost me 54k. I just work hard and spoil myself,” she said.

This comes barely six months after she received overwhelming support from the TikTok community to bury her husband, Ezekiel Otuoma. Ezekiel, a renowned footballer, had been battling ALS before he breathed his last on December 21, 2024, while at home. Watch the video below: Here are some of the comments from social media users: @Jayne said: “Huyo mwenye ameomba, Mungu ambariki na za KSh 70,000.” @Faith Wambui said: “I am your fan, si unibariki na shoe rack na wardrobe please.” @Mama Africa said: “Hata zetu zinaanzia KSh 40,000 na huwa hatusikii vibaya kubariki watu. Hii ni uchoyo.” @Eleven said: “Ameomba wig, hajauliza bei.” @Wedii said: “Rachel ni wale watu hupeana vitu hawapendi and the cheapest. May God bless all of us, tusahau kuomba omba.” @Amillo said: “I remember akiomba food na upkeep back then, kweli masikini akipata.” @Edith Milgo said: “Mwenye aliomba, may you never lack.

More blessings to our sister.” @Barbie said: “Uzuri ni yake, watu waache kuomba sana kuavoid aibu.” Should people give out used wigs? Celebrity beautician and salonist, Florah Adagi, in an interview with TUKO.co.ke, noted that gifting used gifts can be helpful but very tricky. “Used wigs tend to be cheaper, making them more available to people who can’t afford new ones. However, people also suffer a risk of scalp infections, lice, dandruff, or skin irritation if wigs are not sanitised properly,” she said.
