Davido stepped out in different looks for his wedding over the weekend when he walked down the aisle with Chioma Rowland.
The two tied the knot in Miami, USA at a star studded private ceremony.
Davido paid tribute to his late son, Ifeanyi, whom he shared with Chioma. Wearing a coffee-brown suit which he engraved the cuff-links with a picture of the late son.
He wore the suit in the church ceremony where he said his vows to his new wife.
Ifeanyi died in 2022 through drowning. In a past interview with Apple Music 1, the singer described how his son’s death affected his family emotionally and psychologically.
He termed it as “one of the darkest moments of my life.”
“That type of loss made you just be like, ‘I’m out’. I’m just going to chill, take care of my wife and take care of the family and get my head right,” he emotionally shared.
He reflected on how the pain shaped him saying that he didn’t think he will see himself getting out of that dark period and getting back his happiness in ten-fold.
“To come back from that and be blessed with twins out the gate… it just shows God is real.”
Nearly a year later, he and Chioma welcomed a set of twins in October 2023.
Davido revealed that every time he looks at his boy twin’s face, he sees Ifeanyi, a resemblance he said is something scary to him.
“And the boy looks just like my son that passed. It is scary. It’s like literally him. We’re like, ‘No, it’s him. He came back,’” Davido said.
