Radio host Patroba Ojwang was among the people who attended the wedding, and he told TUKO.co.ke how unique the ceremony was. Ojwang also revealed that when he married his wife in 2002, Kagiri was their wedding MC, so it was happy to see her walk down the aisle.
“The wedding was very colourful, it was a wedding of many firsts and well attended, especially knowing that holding a wedding on Thursday would be a long shot. People came through for them. For the first time, I saw a prayer table, where the guests go and wish them prayers, for their marriage and also the bride and groom wished us our prayers. They took Holy Communion together, which was the first meal they shared,” he said. According to Patroba, Kagiri ensured that everyone had fun at the wedding as they shared on their day.
