“50,000 Ksh for Anyone that Brings Back My Black & Yellow Lakers CAP… It was a Special Gift Autographed by the Late Kobe Bryant,” Bahati requested via Instagram post.

The Chaotic Encounter

The incident occurred during a public engagement, where Bahati, referred to as “mdosi” (boss), found himself surrounded by a large crowd.

Efforts to navigate the situation proved difficult, with one person, seemingly his security detail remarking, “But boss, we tried to run away”.

The scene was described as chaotic, with “the youth” being “wild”.

During the commotion, the cap was somehow removed. The conversation indicates a sense of disappointment and a feeling of being “let down” by the turn of events.

There was also a discussion about the challenges of security and crowd control in such an environment.

“You can’t just give it to the crowd like that,” he stated, highlighting the difficulty of the situation.

A Cap of Great Significance

The missing cap holds deep personal importance to Bahati. He noted its versatility, explaining, “Let me tell you, that cap matches all my clothes”.

Beyond its personal value, the cap is considered to be of substantial monetary worth.

The Search Continues

Immediate efforts to retrieve the cap were discussed, with a strong emphasis on finding it. “Don’t worry boss, we will go into the grassroots and find that cap, don’t worry boss,” the bodyguard assured Bahati, suggesting a belief that the item could be located within the community.
