Media personality Oga Obinna has found himself at the centre of a new controversy after a video surfaced showing him publicly exposing a private conversation with musician Willy Paul, also known as Pozzeh.
In the exchange, which occurred during a live YouTube stream, the singer was heard seeking financial assistance for his music projects.
The incident unfolded when Obinna called Willy Paul back after noticing a missed call. Their initial exchange was casual, but Obinna quickly informed the singer that he was live on air.
Unaware of the broadcast, Paul proceeded to inquire about a wealthy friend of Obinna’s – someone who had previously gifted Obinna a substantial sum of dollars – wondering if the same individual might be open to funding some of his artistic endeavours.
“There’s a guy who gave you dollars—the guy with the G-Wagon. Do you think he can support these artistic projects of mine?” Pozzeh innocently inquired.
Obinna responded by saying he’d call him back after the show. This prompted the ‘Njiwa’ singer to grow suspicious, directly asking whether their conversation was being broadcast live. Obinna laughed, confirming it was, a revelation that visibly upset the singer.
“So you mean people will now know that I was asking for money? Stop playing around, bro,” Pozzeh pleaded, urgently asking Obinna to take the call off air.

The clip has since gone viral across social media platforms, with numerous fans and followers criticising Obinna for what many view as a significant breach of trust and poor taste in airing a private financial plea during a public broadcast.
Not the First Time: Amber Ray Clash Resurfaces
This is not an isolated incident for Obinna, as he has faced backlash for making private matters public on previous occasions.
Just weeks earlier, socialite Amber Ray stirred a significant online debate after leaking screenshots of a private chat with the media personality.
The screenshots, shared on her social media, were intended to expose what she described as a persistent pattern of alleged disrespect from Obinna.
In the messages, Obinna allegedly made remarks that Amber interpreted as demeaning and dismissive, unfairly targeting her lifestyle and public image.
While she did not specify the exact timeline of their private exchange, she stated that her decision to go public was directly sparked by comments Obinna made during a media interview, which she felt unfairly scrutinised her.
“I don’t usually do this, but sometimes you have to show people the kind of energy they give you—especially when you’ve done nothing to deserve it,” Amber explained at the time, indicating a breaking point in their interactions.
