Kenyan music veteran Wyre has taken on a new role outside the studio, partnering with Swift Capital Limited as the company’s newly appointed brand ambassador.
The announcement was made at a low-key event held at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Nairobi, where company executives and a few guests gathered to mark the occasion.
Known for his consistency and clean public image, Wyre has been a respected figure in the Kenyan music scene since the late 1990s.
Now, he’s using his influence to spotlight financial inclusion, particularly for creatives who often fall through the cracks in conventional banking systems.
In an Instagram post following the signing, Wyre said he was “proud to finally join the swiftcapitalltd family,” adding that he was looking forward to helping shape services that better serve the creative community and small businesses.

“He is a respected and influential figure whose career has been built on authenticity, consistency, and impact,” said Mwanyasi. “These are values we identify with as a company.”
Swift Capital CEO SamJim Mwanyasi noted that Wyre’s longstanding reputation for authenticity made him an ideal fit.
Wyre also spoke about his personal journey beyond music, having spent recent years mentoring young innovators and creatives.
“This experience has given me valuable insights that I’m excited to bring into this new partnership,” he said. “Together with Swift Capital, I believe we can craft solutions that are not only innovative but speak directly to the needs of emerging entrepreneurs and artists.”
Beyond music, Wyre has maintained a relatively private lifestyle, steering clear of public drama and focusing instead on family and professional ventures.
He’s also made strides in entrepreneurship, co-founding BLOOW, a platform that helps artists monetise their content, and leading Love Child Records as CEO.
