Oga Obinna Fires Back at Amber Ray after Claims He Disrespected Her During Past Music Video

The drama between comedian Oga Obinna and socialite Amber Ray is far from over, with Obinna now hitting back following Amber’s scathing response regarding their past music video collaboration. Oga Obinna called out Amber Ray over her claims that he allegedly disrespected her during a past gig. How did Obinna respond to Amber Ray? Earlier, drama ensued after Obinna brought to light Amber Ray’s conduct during a past project, explaining that it was the point when their relationship became strained. Amber fired back, accusing Obinna of changing the agreed plan during the shoot for his Kado music video, saying she felt disrespected and blindsided when asked to do things that were never part of their deal.

However, Obinna has now responded in kind, setting the record straight from his perspective and challenging Amber’s version of events. “That is a lie because the truth of the matter is that Amber was 4 hours late. Where was she? Her, my ex-girlfriend Liz were drinking somewhere and they showed up on set drunk,” Obinna claimed. According to Obinna, the situation got so chaotic that Amber’s partner Kennedy Rapudo had to step in to do damage control. “The person who was crisis managing was Rapudo. He tried to apologise, telling how things were and that he eventually managed to bring her. Actually, even before anything, I spoke with Rapudo and told him that there was a song I had done and I want Amber to be in the video and he agreed and told me to talk to her, if she agrees it’s okay,” he said. Obinna clarified that they had agreed on a KSh 50,000 payment for Amber’s appearance, but insisted the payment would only be made upon delivery.

“I was supposed to pay her KSh 50,000 and it’s true I had not paid her because you arrive on set, do your thing, and you’re paid. When she arrived on set drunk, she went to do makeup and so now we were waiting for 5 hours just seated,” he explained. Obinna also dismissed Amber’s claims of being disrespected. “Your husband was there, so why would I speak to you in a disrespectful way? And even if he was not there, I respect you as a human being so why would I disrespect you?” he added. Responding to Amber’s assertion that she is not just a vixen but a professional and a brand, Obinna did not hold back. “If you were a brand, you would not show up to work drunk, you would respect your job. If you were a professional, you would not keep other professionals waiting for four or five hours waiting for you to do your scene so that others can move on,” he said.

He continued: “You disrespected everyone on set and I am sure that since that day, they don’t see you the same way. For me, I dismissed it, we are boys. That disrespect part was coming from your end and you need to accept fault. You also confused the set, for us we were there on time and we paid a lot of money for it. Just speak the truth and it will let you free.” To drive his point home, Obinna even threatened to release footage from the shoot to expose the reality of what happened. As of this publication, the comedian has already shared the video online, escalating the feud even further.
