TikToker Milly Wa Doc passed away as a result of pregnancy-related complications, according to medical professionals at the Nakuru County Referral and Teaching Hospital.
Dr. James Waweru said in an NTV interview that the deceased TikToker was taken to the hospital on May 26 due to severe bleeding and pregnancy-related complications at around six months of gestation.
“She was referred from a private hospital and admitted here on May 26 at approximately 3:30 pm. At the time, there was a lot of pain and bleeding. Moreover, the pregnancy lasted roughly six months. When she arrived, she was quite unstable.
“At approximately 5:00 p.m., she was transfused, stabilized, and brought to the theater. The surgery basically aimed to remove the pregnancy and, of course, now stop the bleeding,” the doctor said.
However, following the procedure, things changed. Her kidneys were failing, and her health started to deteriorate quickly.
“We discovered the kidneys were not functioning properly while we were in the ward. She also exhibited sepsis-like symptoms. Dialysis was performed. We made an effort to switch the antibiotics. But regrettably, on June 3rd, we lost her,” Dr. Waweru stated.
Milcah Nyatuga Murang’a, also known as Milly wa Doc, had previously been admitted to the same hospital for pregnancy-related issues, but she chose to return home against medical advice, the medical superintendent added.
“She had been admitted in early April for the same pregnancy-related problems, but she refused to follow medical advice and went home. I am not sure what transpired between those two admissions,” he clarified.
Fans and family were devastated when the late TikToker passed away on Wednesday, June 3. Her death was initially attributed to acute kidney failure, according to the family.
The family is asking fans to help raise money for the famous TikToker’s funeral, which is scheduled for June 13.
