The sudden death of popular Kenyan TikToker Milly Wa Doc has left many fans and fellow content creators in mourning.
Her passing, confirmed by her family in Nakuru, has sparked an outpouring of grief and questions about what truly happened.
During a family gathering, Milly’s aunt Monica offered a brief but emotional explanation of the events leading to Milly’s untimely death.
According to Monica, Milly had developed a cyst in her stomach and was advised to undergo surgery to have it removed.
Although the operation was carried out, Milly began to experience heavy internal bleeding and lost a significant amount of blood, prompting a blood transfusion.
Following three days of hospital care, she was discharged to recover at home. However, things quickly took a turn for the worse.
Monica shared that both of Milly’s kidneys failed shortly after, and she was placed on medication. “The doctors said if the medication didn’t help, they would consider dialysis,” she explained.
Milly began dialysis on Monday, 2nd June, and was reportedly in stable condition when she left the hospital.
Sadly, her condition deteriorated overnight, and she passed away later that evening. Her official cause of death has been listed as acute kidney failure.
A resurfaced video has since emerged, showing Milly speaking candidly about her fears for the future and making arrangements for her children in case of her death.
In the video, she expressed deep concern for her safety, hinting that she had been given the wrong injections and holding her doctor accountable.
“I know I am in danger, but I have planned for my children,” she said. “If I die, they will be okay. But I hope my story helps someone else. Many women are afraid to speak out. Some only do so through anonymous accounts.”
Milly also accused her ex-partner—identified online as “Daddy”—of abuse and misconduct. She claimed he had criminal charges related to medical malpractice and alleged that she had seen incriminating material on his phone. Her relationship with him was troubled and ended in a bitter split.
She revealed that his father had even warned her against marrying him, citing his abusive tendencies.
The final straw came when Milly alleged that he made advances towards her teenage daughter. She said her children’s behaviour changed significantly during the relationship, often hiding when “Daddy” returned home and avoiding meals together
. “That’s when I knew I had to leave,” she had said in a previous interview.
This wasn’t the first time rumours about Milly’s death had circulated. In September 2024, false reports spread online claiming she had died, shortly after her separation from “Daddy”.
In response, Milly posted a video denying the rumours and vowing never to let anyone make her cry again. “Even if they say I’m dead, I won’t shed another tear,” she declared. “Let people say what they want, but I know my truth.”
