Kenya Police FC’s Mohammed Bajaber ruled out of Harambee Stars friendlies against Chad

Kenya Police FC midfielder Mohammed Bajaber has been ruled out of the upcoming Harambee Stars friendlies against Chad after sustaining a right thigh injury during training on Tuesday.

Team doctor Wycliffe Makanga confirmed the setback, stating that Bajaber will not be fit to travel with the squad to Morocco.

No replacement has been named for Bajaber, leaving head coach Benni McCarthy with a 23-man squad for the back-to-back matches scheduled for June 7th and 10th in Marrakech.

The friendlies are part of Kenya’s ongoing preparations for upcoming international competitions, as the team aims to build momentum and assess player readiness.

The Harambee Stars are set to depart Nairobi tonight for Morocco. The squad features a blend of domestic and international talent, with a focus on both experienced players and emerging prospects.
