Chantal Grazioli, the former girlfriend of popular Kenyan comedian Eric Omondi, is trending online after posting birthday photos, including one where she’s seen kissing another woman.
Chantal and Eric were a well-known couple who dated for four years.
Many fans admired their relationship, often calling them “couple goals.” At one point, Eric even put up a billboard just for her. Their breakup in 2019 left a lot of fans feeling sad.
In the recent photos from her birthday celebration, Chantal looked happy and glowing. Her long black hair was styled neatly, and she wore black sunglasses.
One picture showed her smiling in front of a lovely brown cake. But the photo that really caught people’s attention was one of her kissing a red-haired woman by a swimming pool.
That particular image quickly went viral and sparked a lot of comments and questions online.
Chantal and Eric’s breakup was friendly and mutual. They had to deal with the challenges of a long-distance relationship and different life paths.
Since Chantal is Italian, she was in Kenya on a tourist visa, which meant she couldn’t get a job there. According to Eric, she wanted to return to Italy to start building her career. Eric supported her decision because he didn’t want to stand in the way of her dreams.
In May 2019, both of them posted heartfelt messages on social media to announce the end of their relationship. Eric wrote a touching note wishing her all the best in her “new phase in life,” and said that they had separated on good terms.
Later, in previous interviews, Eric explained that he felt like Chantal was not able to grow in Kenya since she couldn’t work, and he was always busy with his comedy shows.
He felt it was better for them to let go and give each other space to grow.
Even though their relationship was very public, their breakup was peaceful and respectful. It showed how strong their connection was, even after they stopped being a couple.
