The couple was previously in a promising relationship that ended after Lydia discovered Frank had allegedly been unfaithful.
In a video that circulated widely online, Frank issued a heartfelt apology, admitting to his mistakes and acknowledging that Lydia deserved better.
He expressed regret for his actions, adding that he missed their relationship and still loved her. His message ended with a plea for a second chance.
Lydia responded via her Instagram Stories, engaging with fans who had seen the video. When asked if she would consider reconciling, she hinted that forgiveness would come at a price.
“I need a car,” she wrote, explaining that she was tired of relying on Uber. She added that a parcel of land registered in her name would also be a fitting gesture.
Reacting to the apology, she noted, “Well, I love that the apology is as loud as the disrespect. As it should be.” She even specified the car she had in mind—a black Honda Vezel hybrid.
Her current stance echoes sentiments she shared in a conversation with fellow content creator Morin Actress in April 2025.

Lydia recounted how she met Frank at a birthday party while he was in Nairobi searching for car spare parts. Their relationship, which lasted six months, was long-distance, but they managed to visit each other twice a month.
Once their relationship became public online, Lydia started trending in Kisumu. However, she later regretted sharing so much of her personal life, saying, “I’ve never posted about anyone I’m dating online before. It was a mistake.”
Reflecting on their quiet breakup, she said, “He apologised, but some things are hard to forgive.” Lydia admitted that, at this stage in her life, she might forgive cheating—but only at a cost.
“I cannot forgive cheating, but if I do, you’ll pay for it. If you can meet my conditions, then we can talk.”
She criticised the notion of remaining in relationships where both trust and quality of life suffer.
“How many people have been cheated on and still stay in relationships where their lives don’t improve? You can’t even afford to do your hair or go out with friends. If you’re going to stay, at least charge for it.”
Lydia also reiterated her controversial views on infidelity during dating. According to her, cheating while unmarried is simply exploring one’s options.
“Welcome to 2025. Everyone is allowed to cheat. If cows haven’t been brought to your father’s compound, you’re still free to explore. Men cheat every day.”
