Kenya Pipeline continues to dominate the 2024/25 Kenya Volleyball Federation (KVF) Women’s National League, maintaining a flawless record with nine wins and 25 points after the fourth leg.

Their unbeaten run cements their status as the team to beat this season, but the race for the top is intensifying as KCB Bank closely trails with seven wins and 23 points from nine matches.

The battle for third is tightly contested, with both DCI and Prisons Kenya tied at six wins and 18 points each from seven matches.

Postbank holds fifth place with 14 points, while Kenya Defence Forces (KDF), buoyed by standout performances such as their 3-0 win over Nairobi Prisons, sits sixth with 12 points.

Lower down the standings, Kenya Army (7 points), Prisons Nairobi (6 points), and Vihiga (6 points) are fighting to stay competitive.

Maranatha, with only 3 points, and Young Spykers, who are yet to win a match, round out the lower tier. Lipalikes Volleyball has not participated in any fixtures so far3.

The fourth leg, held at Nyayo Stadium, saw Pipeline extend their dominance with convincing victories, including a 3-0 rout of Young Spykers and two walkover wins due to opponent no-shows. KCB Bank also impressed, sweeping Kenya Army 3-0 with disciplined play and depth in their squad.

As the league heads into the mop-up matches scheduled for May 2-4, 2025, at Nyayo Stadium, all eyes are on the highly anticipated Pipeline vs. KCB clash, which could determine the league’s front-runner. Meanwhile, teams in the lower half will be eager to turn their fortunes around in the remaining fixtures.

The KVF Women’s League promises more thrilling action as teams jostle for playoff positions and a shot at the championship.
