Today, Wednesday, he will visit Meru and Kirinyaga counties to launch, inspect, and commission various development projects.

The Head of State embarked on his weeklong tour on Tuesday and will traverse nine counties — Laikipia, Nyeri, Meru, Kirinyaga, Nyandarua, Murang’a, Embu, Tharaka-Nithi, and Kiambu — with the tour scheduled to conclude on Saturday.

The President has already arrived in Maua, Meru where he will lay the foundation stone at Huduma Center.

From there, he will head to Kiburi in Tigania West Constituency and Nkuene in South Imenti Constituency.

His next stop will be in Kirinyaga County, where he will visit AHITI Ndomba in Mwea Constituency and Kagio Town in Kirinyaga Central Constituency.

The President is accompanied by Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki, Cabinet Secretaries, and a host of leaders from the region.

In Nyeri and Laikipia counties, Ruto called out his political opponents seeking to unseat him in the upcoming 2027 general elections, urging them to present their policies to the public rather than attacking his administration.

Speaking Tuesday in Ng’arachi Comprehensive School, Laikipia County marking the start of his 5 day visit to the region, he accused his critics of lacking a clear vision and urged residents of the region not to entertain divisive politics that could hinder economic and development growth.
