More than a dozen passengers escaped unhurt after a Super Metro matatu was involved in an accident along Thika Road on Saturday morning
The accident occurred in the Jomoko area, between Witeithie and Thika, along the service lane
The bus flipped on the highway after the incident that involved a personal car.
The car landed in a ditch, police and witnesses said. Some of the passengers left shocked.
Police visited the scene and announced investigations are ongoing into the same.
A video seen by the Star showed a group of people rescuing passengers who were trapped in the bus.
The incident interrupted traffic flow along the service lane even as the rescue operations continued.
Preliminary reports indicate that no casualty was reported.
