Huawei banks on intelligent solutions to enhance user experience, AI growth

The annual Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain kicked off on Monday, March 3, with industry leaders charting a path for intelligent solutions.

At the summit, Huawei’s Director of the Board, Yang Chaobin noted that the emergence of high-quality, low-cost, and open-source AI models will give rise to a wide range of new innovations in applications and accelerate the advent of an intelligent world.

He further noted that individualised experience for consumers will drive intelligent collaboration in organizations and enable an inclusive intelligence for everyone. This will also enable AI entries to expand network AI services.

Towards this new growth trajectory, the telco unveiled plans to front new opportunities to carriers and networks as the accelerators in the intelligent era.

“Huawei’s AI-Centric Network solution is designed to address these needs. It revolutionizes network capabilities to enable all-domain connectivity. It will power a shift towards application-oriented O&M, and will reshape telecom service and business models to take full advantage of new opportunities presented by AI,” said Yang.

Huawei says the AI-Centric Network solution offers a four-layered approach of all-domain connectivity, application-oriented O&M, enhanced AI-to-X services, and innovative business models.

For new growth in AI era, the industry eyes developments to offer customised connections, preventing networks faults and fully introducing AI into networks.

With collaboration in the industry, telcos aim to make the most of AI to fully unleash the value of their networks 5G network.

On his part, Huawei’s Corporate Senior Vice President, Li Peng called on carriers to make the most of AI to fully unleash the value of their networks.

“By embracing and evolving 5G, we can unlock the infinite potential of mobile networks. Huawei is willing and ready to work with carriers and industry partners around the world to promote digital enablement, reinforce network foundations, and bring AI to all. Together, we can shape the D.N.A. for an intelligent world,” said Peng.
