KPLC Lists Areas in 12 Counties Scheduled for Power Maintenance Today

In a notice on Wednesday, February 19, KPLC said the power interruption would occur between 8am and 5pm in the different counties. According to the utility firm, the interruption is to facilitate system maintenance. “Good evening. The following areas will be affected by planned power maintenance tomorrow, 20th February 2025,” it noted. The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Murang’a, Meru, Isiolo, Nyeri, Nandi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Kakamega, Baringo, West Pokot, and Taita Taveta. 1. Nairobi Area: Part of Gigiri (9.00am-5pm) Anselia Close, Lobelia Rd, Mainolia Close & adjacent customers. Area: Sewage area, Ruai (9.00am-5pm) The whole of Sewage Estate, St. Luanga Catholic Church and School, Corner Mzuri Est, Gatuoro Estate, Gituamba Estate, Maji ya Pili Estate, Lakeview Est, NCC Sewage Treatment Works, Jubilee High School, Ruai Primary School, Josna School, Kasinga Farm, Fair Deal Animal Feeds, Parts of Eastern Bypass, RLC Reddamac Leather Centre, Southern Engineering, Southern Beer Factory, Stone Cutters Quarry, Wellkim C/Fact, Gulf Energy Petrol Stn, Shell Petrol Station and adjacent customers.
