In a notice on Wednesday, February 19, KPLC said the power interruption would occur between 8am and 5pm in the different counties. According to the utility firm, the interruption is to facilitate system maintenance. “Good evening. The following areas will be affected by planned power maintenance tomorrow, 20th February 2025,” it noted. The counties to be affected are Nairobi, Murang’a, Meru, Isiolo, Nyeri, Nandi, Kiambu, Nakuru, Kakamega, Baringo, West Pokot, and Taita Taveta. 1. Nairobi Area: Part of Gigiri (9.00am-5pm) Anselia Close, Lobelia Rd, Mainolia Close & adjacent customers.
