Hamisa Mobetto is now married to footballer Aziz Ki. The footballer plays for Tanzania’s Yanga FC and Burkina Faso’s national team, however, he is a Citizen of Ivory Coast.
The couple held their wedding this past weekend, however noticeably missing from the ceremony was the footballer’s family, who are said to be unhappy as they were absent from the wedding.
Aziz Ki’s mother. Anata Ki says she was informed of her son’s wedding last minute and requested that the nuptials be postponed to allow her time to plan her visit to Tanzania.
She also questioned why Hamisa would want to get married to a man without knowing his family first.
She threw shade at Hersi Said who is the president of Yanga FC alleging that he stood in as the player’s elder during the traditional wedding, terming it as wrong and unacceptable.
In a long Instagram Message, Mama Aziz Ki said why she refused to acknowledge the wedding.
“As a family, we were not informed about this wedding with this young man named Hersi. He is a great liar before God. Hersi, let me tell you something, you are not the person to prepare my son’s wedding. You are just a poor leader who wants, with fire, with blood, to keep this young man in Tanzania.
“You can arrange your wedding for her if she is happy, Alhamdulillah… But don’t say something that is not true…You are spending your life on lies. That’s why you shouldn’t involve this precious family in your nonsense, right?
“How can I just give you permission to have a wedding without me? How come? How can a girl want a man and get married without trying to know the family? It was about a contract, a job, and football – that’s it.
She went on to say;
“The boy has many uncles; you can’t be the one to prepare his wedding. You cannot be a dowry-bringer—no, you cannot. You are not part of my family, and you never will be. You are too bad to be a part of us.
“As for me, I was informed for the first time through social networks… And I congratulated my son despite everything… Then he decided to inform me. But I was on a duty mission in Dakar and I left yesterday.”
The couple did a traditional wedding and an Islamic wedding this past weekend, Saturday and Sunday Feb 16 and 17 respectively.
