A Kenyan woman identified as Diana Wangu has shared her savings plan for the year 2025. TikToker shares daily innovative savings plans. Wangu shared a video on TikTok explaining how she plans to save daily for the 365 days of the year. She displayed numbers written in three foolscaps marking the days she has already saved. In the plan, she saves an amount equivalent to the date on a particular month. For instance if is it is January 27, she will deposit KSh 27 in her savings account. When February comes, she continues to count the number of days saving an amount until the last day of December 2025, which will be the 365th day upon which she will deposit KSh 365.
“I have finished saving for January,” she captioned the clip. Social media users react Wangu’s initiative sparked conversations online with some netizens praising her discipline and sharing their progress while others expressed challenges following through with saving.
