Panic erupted near the Gilgil weighbridge along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway after a bus belonging to Modern Coast caught fire. The bus burst into flames along the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Videos seen by TUKO.co.ke show the fire engulfing the bus, which was parked alongside the busy highway.
Reports indicate that no casualties have been reported, as all passengers were safely evacuated from the bus. The crowd was seen watching from a distance, expressing gratitude that no one was injured in the fire.
“Waah, God has help them to come out of the bus safely,” one female onlooker said. At the time of publishing this report, authorities had not yet confirmed the cause of the fire that erupted in the bus.
