Kenyans are excited after two of the region’s biggest gospel artistes announced they will perform in the country. Christina Shusho and Israel Mbonyi will perform in Kenya. Will Israel Mbonyi and Shusho visit Kenya? Rwanda’s Israel Mbonyi and Christina Shusho from Tanzania said they would be in Kenya on Tuesday, December 31.

The gospel minister broke the news through their respective social media accounts.”Kenya, 31st Crossover, we have a very interesting lineup,” Shuso wrote. Mbonyi, on the other hand, greeted Kenyans and confirmed that he would also perform. Many Kenyans said they were looking forward to seeing the two singers on one stage.

Others said they would be torn between attending the concert or one by Jamaican dancehall singer Sheensea. However, some Kenyans wondered whether local artistes will also perform. mrbradley___: “I must attend because God has held my hand this year.”

bennar_254_mitumba_bales: “If Mbonyi does not tell us his ‘secret’, he will cross over the year alone.” mylee_staicey: “Many things are happening on the 31st- we have Sheensea and Shusho.” thee_spiron: “Finally- they have organised an event for our parents.”

divinely_achie: “Serve God while still in your youth. God is not for millennials only.” thee_nairobi_kid: “This year is already messed up. 2025 is my year.” khoerose8: “We have the likes of Sarah K. Why can’t we promote local talent?” Brianbrayok: “Tell them that Gen Zs no longer pay for concert tickets.”
