A woman from Mji Mema, Songea, Tanzania, is stressed after her baby, who was in her company at her workplace, went missing. Gabriella was working at her salon on Monday, November 4, when her cute bundle of joy was stolen.

The mother of two recounted the events that led to her daughter Glory James being taken away by a strange woman. How was Gladys stolen from the salon? The saloonist was making a client’s hair in mid-morning when the suspect came in and greeted them.”They seemed to know each other.

They were communicating through their phones, sending each other messages. She asked for the prices of some services, and I told her about them. She said her younger sibling, who was at home, wanted to get her hair done. She later noted my 11-month-old baby was in distress.

She asked me to change her diapers and clothes, which I did,” Gabriella shared. Gabriella reports missing daughter to police Gabriella said the strange woman picked up Gladys as she tried to calm her while her mother finalised her client.

When the client left, the strange woman left with Gladys and Gabriella, who did not suspect anything then. “I thought she would return as she had gone for the hair oil I had told her I did not have. I waited until 3pm, and that was the time I came to my senses that my daughter had been taken away. I could not remember the faces of the ladies, but I reported the matter to the police,” the heartbroken woman said.
