Key measures to ensure exam security

The Ministry of Interior and National Administration has implemented robust measures to ensure the security and integrity of the 2024 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.

Key strategies include secure storage of exam containers at Deputy County Commissioner offices, which are only accessed by security and education officials to prevent unauthorized handling.

Logistics support, including ground, water, and aerial resources, has been organized to facilitate safe transport of exam materials across the country.

Additionally, a strong focus on field-level monitoring ensures that Security and Intelligence Committees oversee the examination process to prevent malpractice.

The practical and oral exams began on October 22, with common papers scheduled to start on November 4.
