A distressing case has emerged involving a missing female driver and her vehicle, which has been unaccounted for since September 25. Sikika Road Safety records that the woman had agreed to take the passengers on a journey from Mombasa to Samburu and back to Diani. According to the initial reports, the passengers had booked the driver through a hailing app before agreeing to go offline for the long-distance trip.
The driver picked up the passengers in Mombasa. However, the vehicle’s tracker was deactivated after setting off, raising suspicion. Details indicate that the car was later spotted in Kisumu, far from its intended destination. Her family, friends, and authorities have raised concerns, suspecting foul play as the driver and her vehicle remain missing. The passengers, now believed to be criminals, have not been found either. Authorities have launched an online appeal, urging the public to share any information that may help trace the missing driver and recover the vehicle. “Let’s pray she be found safe and sound,” reads part of the social media post, which calls on the community to assist in the search. Anyone with relevant information is encouraged to contact local authorities immediately to aid in the investigation and ensure the safe recovery of the driver.
