Nairobi governor Johnson Sakaja has criticised Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua for his remarks during a live TV interview.   He confirmed to Gachagua that President William Ruto is collaborating with Raila Odinga and advised him to seek solutions if the broad-based system proves ineffective for him.  “You cannot go and insult the president indirectly. You cannot tell the president to keep his house in order. How can you do that? Experience is important. There is something called an official secret act.

You cannot go to TV and expose the president, revealing that he told you something directly.Ruto is now collaborating with Raila Odinga. If that bothers you so much, if you’re choked with potatoes, let it go with some soup,” said Sakaja. Stay away from Nairobi issues, Sakaja warns Sakaja also urged Gachagua to steer clear of Nairobi matters, emphasising that the county will remain focused and disregard external advice. “I understand the pressure he’s facing from Parliament, but he shouldn’t bring those issues to Nairobi county. We will maintain order here and won’t tolerate any ethnic mobilisation,” he added.  His comments come amid a growing rift between President Ruto and his deputy and discussions of a potential impeachment of Gachagua.
