Oga Obinna

Oga Obinna recently revealed what happened to the “My Woman” finale during an interview with Commentator 254.

He explained that after shooting the first episode for an entire day and night, the footage was unfortunately lost.

Eddie Butita, who was involved in the project, confirmed that the footage was unrecoverable, despite efforts to retrieve it.

Butita promised to cover the costs of reshooting the episode. Obinna also mentioned that the hard drive crash not only wiped out this footage but also other important files, including his song “Kado,” which was eventually released this month.

Moving forward, Obinna shared that he’s working on season 2 of “My Woman,” which will feature Kenyan politician Salasya.

The goal is to find a wife for Salasya, who, according to Obinna, “has money but no partner.”

Obinna also spoke about his desire to get Stevo Simple Boy a smartphone to help him create better content.

Despite Stevo recently accusing Obinna of trying to use him, Obinna laughed it off, saying he appreciated the attention, as it kept people talking about him for a week.

He called it “positive showbiz” and clarified that there’s no bad blood between them.

Obinna also touched on a past event where he invited Stevo to perform in Kitale. However, Stevo canceled, claiming he had other commitments, only to call back later asking about the show, which was already in progress.

On his relationship with Eric Omondi, Obinna said that their public squabble over money was purely scripted as part of showbiz.

He acknowledged that while people criticized him, it was all part of the industry, where entertainment and business come together.

He concluded by affirming that showbiz is beneficial since it keeps him in the spotlight and brings in business
