Kenya and South Korea have committed to enhance bilateral ties to boost trade and economic opportunities.
Speaking Wednesday morning while he met South Korea’s Special Presidential Envoy and 1st Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, Hong Kyun Kim, State House, Nairobi, President William Ruto noted that Kenya values their partnership of South Korea in the development of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), public health, water and sanitation and ICT sectors.
“We are looking forward to escalating our collaboration in the forthcoming Korea Africa Summit.” Added President Ruto.
The Korea-Africa Summit is scheduled to take place on the 4th and 5th of June, 2024, in Seoul under the theme: “The Future We Make Together, Shared Growth, Sustainability and Solidarity.”
The two leaders also agreed to align their positions to promote adherence to international laws to foster global peace and stability.
