A cloud of sorrow and anguish has engulfed Mafuta village, Ziwa ward, as siblings are laid to rest. Rose Chemeli and Robinson Kipkorir were laid to rest at the family’s home in Moiben. Hundreds of mourners gathered at the family of Stephen Tuikong’s home on Friday, April 12, as the siblings were buried. Tuikong’s family suffered a double tragedy when Rose Chemeli and Robinson Kipkorir died in a span of hours. Family and friends were still lost for words as they disclosed the bond shared between Rose and Robin. After an emotional burial ceremony, the siblings were buried side by side. What happened to the siblings Rose’s brother Aaron Koech told TUKO.co.ke that she was going about her duties when she started complaining about severe headaches and stomachaches. According to the brother, symptoms persisted before she died on the same day, Wednesday, April 3. Upon getting news of his sister’s death, Robinson, popularly known as Robi, decided to travel from Eldoret and join his family in mourning. However, he did not live to get home after getting into an accident along the way and succumbed to his injuries.
