Trevor rebrands Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel, says her services are no longer needed

Social media influencer Bonventure Kebati alias Director Trevor has rebranded Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel and Facebook account to Kenya Online Media amidst break-up rumours.

Sharing the news with his fans on Instagram, the video director posted a new logo of the previous Mungai Eve channel explaining they have rebranded.

Curious about Mungai Eve’s position in the rebrand, a fan questioned whether they will still work together.

“Will you be working with Eve?” the fan questioned.

In his response, Trevor explained that he would no longer work with Mungai Eve as her services were no longer needed.

“No! Her services are no longer needed on the following platforms; YouTube 754k subscribers, Insta Fame 104 subscribers, Facebook 874k followers,” he responded.

“So does it mean you are no longer working with Eve Mungai?” another fan questioned to which he answered, “Yes.”

Rightful owner

Following Trevor’s decision to rebrand Mungai Eve’s YouTube channel, numerous fans have questioned who the channel rightfully belonged to and why he cut off his partner in the new venture.

Speaking in a previous interview with Presenter Ali, the duo touched on the dynamics of the channel in question.

“The channel is called Mungai Eve but the person that shoots the video is called Director Trevor and the person in front of the screen is Mungai Eve. If tomorrow Mungai Eve breaks up with Director Trevor, who will remain with the channel?” asked Ali.

According to Trevor, he founded the channel and Mungai only acted as the face of the brand. He however went on to explain that if they were to ever break up, Mungai should be the one to take over the channel.

“This is a girl you know, I am the one who created that channel but it is hers. If one day we encounter any problem, I’d love for the channel to remain hers. I can start a channel today and without a doubt, it will do well. However, in this case, the brand is hers, the name is hers, and it will therefore remain with her. All the information on the channel is hers, I only know the password, the rest don’t know including the revenue and all that,” he explained.

Mungai and Trevor have for some time now been suspected of ending their relationship after fans found out they unfollowed each other on social media and cleared their timeline of their romantic pictures together.

Neither of them has come out to deny or affirm the rumours.
