Hamisi Impressed With Kajiado’s Display In Win Over Rainbow
Kajiado FC head coach Mohamed Hamisi 'Kaka' has lauded his side's tactical execution of their game plan against Rainbow FC in their National Super League (NSL) fixture played at the Ildamat Stadium on Saturday.
Goals from Abubakar Okwi and James Mutuku handed Kajiado all three points, a feat that pleased Hamisi.
"Playing against my head coach in the national team is not easy. So I can say tactically I knew it was going to be tough but I was prepared.
"You can see their striker today didn't get those balls behind our defense line. So we prepared well and I can say the tactical execution gave us the win," expressed Hamisi.
On his side, Rainbow FC head coach Marcel Oile was disappointed with his team's inability to convert their chances.
"We had many chances to score and also win the match but unfortunately we didn't convert our chances, so of course we lost but just to pick it up for the next match and prepare for another win," expressed Oile.
Kajiado now sit sixth in the NSL standings, just two points adrift of leaders Mathare while Rainbow are 15th, eight points behind the Slum boys.
Other fixtures saw Kisumu All-stars moved to second after thanks to a point after being held to a 2-2 draw by Luanda Villa while Mara Sugar dropped to third following a 2-1 defeat to Mulembe United.
