Jalango shares healing progress after leg injury
Langata MP Phelix Odiwour aka Jalango is well on his way to recovery following a leg injury.
Jalango suffered an archilles tendon in a basketball game in September 26.,
"Last Tuesday during our morning Bunge basketball training I had an accident that tore my Achilles tendons, I had reconstructive surgery done and I am back home as the 6 week recovery journey begins," he shared details.
While he was hospitalized for a few days, he was visited by his family and friends who consoled him.
"I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for your QR wishes and all of you who visited me at the Nairobi hospital. I want to thank the whole team of Nairobi hospital led by Prof. Atinga for the amazing job and their general hospitality and service. We are down but not out! Our able Langata team will be in charge of constituency matters closely monitored by myself. ASANTENI saana!"
The condition has forced him to be off his feet, and not being seen in public.
The vocal politician has another update about how he is progressing.
On his Instagram stories, Jalango wrote that he has three more weeks to go. He showed his feet in the video suggesting he is anxious to resume normal activities.
"Getting there...three weeks to go"
In a separate tiktok video, Jalango showed fans how he walks aided by crutches as he limped to board his Range rover in his parkign lot. He appeared in high spirits.
"Overcoming it but ni God" he captioned the walk.
The last time Jalas was in public was at the Siaya tour where President Ruto was in the county to inspect projects.
