Murang'a High School Student's Eloquent English in Front of William Ruto Amazes Kenyans: "Full Package"
What did Murang'a student tell William Ruto? The leaders attended a function at Murang’a High School, and the student council chair got an opportunity to address them. When John Wainaina held the microphone, he got loud cheers from his fellow students. "This is the day we've been all waiting for with unalterable joy. Today, we have the whole of Kenya in our school. It is a great honour. I do fathom that I speak for millions of students in this great nation." Wainana noted that he followed Ruto's journey from deputy president to the top seat. The student praised Ruto for acknowledging the ICT sector giving young people hope. “Many external factors may try to discourage leaders, and it is a problem we presidents face. But we will overcome through God’s guidance," he said amid cheers. Wainana then requested the president to procure another bus for the school. “We have 2,100 students with two buses, but only one is functional. We have challenges attending various events and exposing ourselves.” He said Ruto visited the school in 2018 and promised to deliver a bus. “You have risen the ranks this time, and we believe you will fulfil the promise. I pray that Murang’a High School will have more than one bus because we have greatness among us.” Kenyans were impressed by his grasp of English and reacted by saying: Paulkorir4: “A few years to come, you will hear he’s an MP.” Lucynndungu: “It is the voice for me.” azingluckybenja1Amazing: “Very magnificent speech, opening formula and great progress.” Paulclemokabee: “I also speak this kind of English in my mind.” user4795096475746: “Is this a student or parent representative?” Karoobilo: “The voice, confidence, maturity, height, he the full package.” BY TUKO NEWS
