Comedian Eric Omondi has shared a video of the late baby Pyden Mudoga moments before his body is put in a hearse ahead of his burial.

An emotional Omondi confessed that small coffins are always the heaviest while comforting the affected parents.

The comedian was instrumental in helping the one-month-old baby in getting treatment after he was diagnosed with a cancerous tumour.

Omondi had helped the family raise at least Sh1 million for the baby’s specialized treatment but unfortunately, he passed away.

The comedian had been helping the family of the one-month-old baby get financial help for his treatment.

In the recent video, Omondi had been accompanied by Pyden’s family.

“They say the smallest Coffins are the heaviest. Safiri salama Pyden Mudoga,” he wrote

Adding “A lot needs to change in our health systems. We got to Pyden a little late but next week we will be launching something that will change people’s lives. Mahali imefika sasa lazima itakua ni #SisiKwaSisi”

Watch;

Omondi announced Pyden’s death on Monday.

‘Still part of me felt peace because he was in pain, morning to evening. I felt like has has rested. That kind of pain is too much for a baby. He is in a better place,” he said in a video

He then wrote;

“We have lost baby Pyden. Pyden was a very Strong Baby…He fought a good fight. He ran his race. In the short time that he lived, he taught me great lessons. He taught Resilience. He has rested. We will remember him as a Legend. We will Celebrate his life. We will send him off as a PRINCE. May God give him rest. We will not lose hope, we will bury him as a soldier with our heads high. Once again Thank you to ALL who Contributed. We shall Continue.”

May the little one’s soul rest in peace.   BY MPASHO NEWS
