Kenya Kwanza created Prime CS office without proposal – Suba

The Kenya National Civil Society Center executive director Suba  Churchill has said Kenya Kwanza created the office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary despite them saying they were not about positions.

Speaking during an interview on Friday morning at KTN News, Suba said they came to power and did not even make a proposal for the creation of the office but appointed one.

“Kenya Kwanza said they are not about positions during their campaigns. After getting to power, they created the office of the Prime Cabinet Secretary. That is a position,” Suba said.

“The same Kenya Kwanza went ahead and created another office that looks like one of the public offices, the office of the spouse of the Prime CS again with no proposal made.”

Suba said the government should be held into account since they said they will ensure they execute the Constitution to the latter but also the spirit.

He said the government did not commit to the pledges in their manifesto.

Suba said they had talked about putting money into the pockets of the people, yet gone contrary to that.

“This is the same Kenya Kwanza that had said before that they are not about positions but wananchi, they promised to put money in the pockets of the people yet President William Ruto recently launched 'gava mkononi' and not 'Pesa mkononi',” Suba said.     BY THE STAR
