Come here, go there! Itumbi reacts after CAS post nullification

Blogger and digital strategist Dennis Itumbi has reacted after the High Court quashed President William Ruto's 50 CASs.

Itumbi is among the 50 CASs whose appointment was quashed by the High Court on Monday. He was appointed to the Ministry of Information and Communication and Digital Economy.

In a ruling on Monday, a three-judge bench found that the law was not complied with in the establishment of the said office.

The High Court termed the creation of the 50 CASs unconstitutional.

In a statement after the ruling, Itumbi said:

"Come here, go there. Focus, service and connecting dreams to opportunities," he said.

In January, Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua revealed details of Itumbi's job at State House.

Gachagua said Itumbi had no designated office, but was a close aide to Ruto.

"Many of you wonder what is the work of Itumbi. His office is known as come here, go there. He is a close friend of our President," he said.

"Itumbi has no office, but he is in charge of everything. He arranges everything, he is the president's handler."

Gachagua was responding to critics from Azimio who had claimed that Itumbi had been sidelined by Ruto while forming his communication team at State House.      BY THE STAR
