Ruto goodies: Limuru Girls receives second school bus
Limuru Girls High School has received another bus from President William Ruto.
This is the second bus after the school received another one on May 20, when the President visited the school.
The school management received the bus from principal administrative secretary Abdul Mwasera who had been sent by President Ruto.
Present at the school were Limuru MP John Kiragu who was accompanied by Kiambu county commissioner Joshua Nkanatha, county director of Education Simon Wanjohi, Limuru deputy county commissioner Charles Mukele and the school board of management.
“As we thank our President for his generosity, let the constituents feel the bus too. We have so many schools which do not have a bus and normally feel a challenge when they want to travel on education matters” he said.
“Do not turn us down whenever we come knocking at your doors seeking help, please assist us with it.”
Wanjohi told the management to make arrangements on how they will be assisting other schools with the bus or any other bus whenever they have a challenge of travelling on educational activities.
“No school will be denied a bus, if they will be travelling on education activities. The school's management will be making arrangements for that,” he said.
Mwasera told the students that the president was concerned with the student’s performance, urging them to work hard to realise their dreams. BY THE STAR
