School transition: Primary to Junior from grade 6 to 7

Nyanza region leads in the enrolment of learners into Junior secondary school according to recent data released by the government.

In a statement on Tuesday by the Ministry of Interior, boys are leading in the transition to JSS at 641,270, while  625,518 are girls.

Out of the total,  984,622  have reported to JSS in public schools and 278,534 are in private institutions.         BY THE STAR
