Arnesen’s High march to commissioner’s officer over absentee teachers, insufficient students

 

Students from Arnesen’s High School in Burnt Forest township of Uasin Gishu County early Monday walked over 40 kilometres to Eldoret town to seek audience with Ainabkoi Sub-County Commissioner Charles Laboso.

The students began trekking at midnight and arrived at the Eldoret-Kaptagat junction by 8.30am.

They complained of absentee teachers, being denied access to the school library, insufficient toilets, lack of water, and small food rations, among other grievances.    BY DAILY NATION
