Vincent Mboya's mum cries narrating how friends said her son would be killed
Content creator Vincent Mboya has given his mother yet another surprise after gifting her sh100k to do whatever 'she wishes'.
Mboya had promised to ensure his mother gets to board the plane for the first time and he kept his promise.
This is the first time she is on a plane from Mombasa to Nairobi.
Speaking to Presenter Ali, the now popular content creator who hit the headlines for allegedly returning Sh 18,000 to MP Jalang'o said he was happy that what sounded like a dream come true.
Mboya was picked together with his mum at the airport by Expeditions Maasai Safaris tours and travel company which had promised to help him plan a holiday for his mum.
His mum said he never thought her son would be someone important in this life after she was told that her son was going to be killed.
"Some friends even told me that my son would be a Chokora in Nairobi and he would be shot dead and I would go collect his body in the river," she emotionally narrated.
She added that she had to commit him to God.
"I appreciate God that my son did not die," she said.
"Mboya is a good person, I brought him up in church."
Despite the trolls and hate that his son faced, she said her son had promised that he would never disappoint her.
"I wanted him to be a doctor. I would listen to Pitson's song and I would pray for him. I wanted him to go to school. What I am happy about him is that he did not ever involve himself in drugs," she said.
Mboya said he did not expect he would become popular in a year.
He said one of his dreams was to fly his mum in an airplane before the end of the year.
"I wanted to surprise her with a flight experience and a holiday as well. I am so humbled by how she raised me. She will be touring some parts of Kenya courtesy of Expeditions Maasai Safaris tours and travel company. When I said I wanted to fly my mum, Expeditions Maasai Safaris tours and travel company told me that was a great idea and they said they would help me in planning for her to visit Nairobi National park," he said.
Mboya said he will pay for his mum to attend the Laugh festival happening on Saturday and that he would also want her to meet Lang'ata MP Jalang'o.
Asked why he is only treating his mum, Mboya said his dad is out of the country.
"When he will be returning to Nairobi, we will also surprise him," he said.
